Ken Tierney, Vehicle Technologies Product Manager, Ireland
I began working at AMCS Group in 2009, initially as a Hardware Engineer. In 2010, I took up the role of support center manager, managing a team of 10 support engineers, who supported our European customer base.
In 2011, I also took on the management of the service teams for Ireland and the UK. This provided me with a in-depth knowledge of how our customers used our vehicle based technologies to improve their business. This knowledge has helped me in my role as product manager for AMCS Vehicle Technologies, which I took up in 2015.
As a product group, working closely with the development team, we are constantly improving and developing the technology we deliver, year after year. It is amazing to see the results of that evolution. We have come a long way. Even as part of a larger multinational, our close team dynamics have remained whether we were working at Limerick office or further afield.
